Kiitos Nina ja ihanaa viikonloppua sinnekkin. Ihania tunnelmapala kuvia täälläkin ja aurinko paistelee. Hauskaa selfportrait kurssia, hyvin vaikea laji (ainakin mulle).
ReplyDeleteKiitos Henrietta,
DeleteNuo kurssit motivoi kivalla tavalla, ja ny kun valoakin riittää niin passaa kuvata sisälläkin :-)
Wonderful highlights and I am totally inspired by your self portrait! BTW, I would love if you could share your baked blueberry banana oatmeal recipes! Maybe it is on the blog somewhere but I could only find the photo. :) Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, It is a fun and inspiring course, and at the moment the first month is free at SkillShare! Here is link to the recipe to the baked banana blueberry oatmeal by Dawn at Words of Deliciousness ~ I used her tasty recipe

Happy weekend to you, Sarah
Your cubebot is cute! Nice collection of photos.
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda ~ this cubebot was a random find in a toy boutique ... The idea of using it one month in "photo a day"- project did hit me as soon as I saw it :)
DeleteThank you for stopping by & sunshine to your weekend!
I love this "highlights from my week" blog post idea. I was just thinking yesterday about starting something similar on my blog. I did a random pictures from my week post on Facebook, but definitely want to do this next week. A wonderful way to capture life, like a journal, but better. Love that creative self-portrait photography. Stopping by from SITS!
ReplyDeleteHi Lori,
DeleteThank you for stopping by and leaving a note! "Photo journalizing" is a fun way of keeping a diary - I jot a few lines down on my CollectPhotoApp each day, but often times a"a picture tells thousand words" :) I look forward of seeing your pictures from your week!
Such perfect moments Nina so beautifully captured. This is such a great idea to look for those highlights and keep them to remind us of happy times. Have a wonderful week xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Chel! I enjoyed seeing your captures from the walk ... Especially the seal - He looked like he was enjoying himself in the sun shine :)
DeleteHello Nina, Your little friend is a good guide to the happenings of your week. The first shot of the stencil and the shadow has such mystery. I'm really enjoying your creative self-portraits. I especially like how you linked the yellow flowers in two of the portraits.
ReplyDeleteHi Barb,
DeleteThe first shot kind of a "day dream" ... where I combine two photos - layering them and making it look like a bit mysterious - a photo from a forest, and another with a pine cone and Cubebot from the coffee table.
It was fun to try and make the self portraits - and the yellow flower was my symbol of grasping the awaiting-for-the -spring feeling :)
Wonderfully creative photography ~ 1st one is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend to you,
artmusedog and carol
Thank you Carol,
DeleteThe sun in the mornings is bright and warm :)

DeleteYes, it's a rare occasion to be in front of the camera ... We should be better in doing that, shouldn't we?! :)
I love your use of the Cubebot and lovely self portraits Nina!
ReplyDeleteHighlight of our week - sunshine, melting snow, comfortable temps, blissful to bask in it. :)
Thank you Amanda ... The Cubebot is very good to my inner child :)
DeleteAnd this way of taking self portraits feel almost alright ... subtle and low key.
Your self portraits are great; I wish I could make myself do more of them...All your images are wonderful and so creative.....I hope you are having a blessed weekend...
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy,
DeleteThank you, I enjoyed and was inspired by seeing your Still Life images ---the light in them is so delicate!
Love that first shadowy shot! I've evjoyed your Instagram shots with your muse and your sefies are fabulous. I'll have to check out Skillshare.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy the morning sun in the kitchen --I get never tired of the shadow play it creates! The course is really worth checking out - I look forward of seeing your self portraits (I like the ones from last summer you've posted on Instagram - especially where the sun is shining through your hair :)
DeleteSounds like you and cubebot had a great day together!
ReplyDeleteThanks Betty - Cubebot is a gracious compagnion - says always "Yes" and never complains :-)
DeleteThat first photo is my favorite. All the shadows and details and back light are outstanding. It is getting too hot here for hot coffee and tea even in the mornings, but iced coffee and tea is good.
ReplyDeleteHi Nina! Your self portraiture images as so simple and beautiful. I took a self portraiture class a while back and haven't taken a 'selfie' in a while. You have inspired me to think about it again. I love your first shot too. :)
ReplyDeleteI love seeing you and your creative crops, I love shadows and this one is so wonderful
