Summer feet {Hipstamatic style}

I took a bunch of snapshots during this summer with my cell phone.
I used mostly an application called Hipstamatic,
which has many different lenses and films you can combine.
I'm fond of the Doris lens and Sussex film, which together give clear, bluish tones.  I find the vintage-like frame also charming, adding an old photo-effect.

Summer is....
  The sand beneath my feet
A warm beach
And hope

Summer is.....
Peace of mind
As the sun sets on another day

Summer is.....
A moment
Of perfect silence

Summer is...
The days getting longer
And my son reaching out for me
Beauty is translucent
Time consuming life
I find myself
Bit by bit

  1. Hi Nina! What a cute idea to have all those different feet in your shot! And the water is so still, it's like a perfect mirror. So peaceful.

It's fun to play with the new camera toys, right?

    Happy Monday!

  2. I loved that you used feet as the center of your series...So fun and so summery....great shots...

  3. Love the one with the feet in the water (I think?) and your quote beneath. Great idea.

  4. Interesting shots and nice summer thoughts. ;)

  5. Lovely post about the joys of summer. I like the shot of the feet dangling over the water. I also like the nostalgic feel these photos have.

  6. Love the photos & reminiscing of summer, Nina! I agree about those wonderful blue tones - they're very eye-catching.
We have a bit of a summer heatwave returning to us after weeks of cool weather. It's in the nineties today - ufda!

  7. Love these! Thank you for sharing at TM this week Nina.

  8. These are great fun! Love the last one.

  9. Hi Nina, just popped over to let you know that your link to Food on Friday: Potatoes/Sweet Potatoes was featured in my Need Some Inspiration? Series on Carole's Chatter today. Cheers
