Creative License Friday #4

original image

This weeks photography for Creative License Friday, a meme hosted by She Who Carries Camera, is provided by Kerrie.

The beautiful texture in the skin of Kerrie's lizards caught my eye, and I wanted to enforce it in some way. I did this by adding  borrowing skin from another reptile... Kerri's lizard got "a coat" from a Green Iguana from Copenhagen Zoo, the texture provided by the courtesy of Keld Bach.

My version

I found a lovely rock texture by L.C. N√łttaasen, by googling "free rock textures". This texture enchanges the rock just a bit, adding a few yellow spots.  Thereafter I adjusted the levels and curves via GIMP, and added a bit vintage effect via Pixrl Express.

  1. The extra texture you put on the lizard really ages him to look more prehistoric! Well done!
