Yellow / Easter {Nurture Photography Spring}

Yellow narcissus, chocolate eggs, bright sun reflecting on the snow ...
These are the memories that come to my mind when I'm thinking about
 my childhood Easters.

And as it happened, this Easter we had sun, snow and narcissus ...
not to forget the chocolate eggs :)

Now that we had 10 days vacation, we painted our livingroom ...
so the walls are fresh and white now.

We had only candle light the days, we were painting the ceiling
- the candles created  some "shadow art" on the walls.

The Easter lamb, bread and wine
- sometimes the beauty and the miracle is found
in the simple things.

  1. You've worked hard during your vacation. We are still working on our bathroom redo and after that we have to paint the ceiling and walls of our livingroom too :(

Beautiful images and I love your shadow-ART pic.

    1. Actually it was my dear hsuband that did the painting - He worked so hard!I was emptying the bookshelf and moving things around ... It was a good occasiong to sort out some things. Redoing takes time & energy, but in the end one can see, that is was worth the trouble :)

    1. Thanks Laurie! The light was just right - not direct, but bright, to capture both the color and the textures of the flover.

    1. I like the vase a lot as well! Our friend brought the flowers as an Easter Greeting, she made the bouquet in her vase, she has gotten from her greatgrandparents (I filled the vase today with gerberas, and returned it to her today :)

    1. Indeed, the white walls somehow lighten the room, so the sun light feels even more brighter :)

  11. These are so lovely!
Candlelight makes me happy, so quiet & peaceful.
I have two gallons of fresh paint (the color's name is "Dusting of snow") that are waiting for me to put on our living room walls, as well.. Waiting for my husband to have some days off soon, so we can empty all the furniture. We plan to sand & refinish the floor at the same time. I love bright happy colors against a light, white canvas & can't wait for the fresh painted walls.
Your colors in these photos are wonderful. I have a weakness for sunny yellow. :)

    1. Hi Amanda, emptying the room is maybe the part that takes most effort - together with refinishing the floor. A sweet name for the paint! The white's have so many shades ... picking the color can take time ... Wishing you flow and good moments with the project! :)
