Reflections on light and life

I've enjoyed finding new perspectives on everyday life through Tracey Clark's class Picture everyday. The light reflecting on the blue glasses caught my eye while I was emptying the dishwasher Saturday morning.

Our local library has a cozy atmosphere - the light is so mild and soft.

My favorite reading seating is the corner sofa, with a blanket over my feet.

The afternoon light falling on wide windowsills does reveal the nice texture.

This reflection is from this morning, as I saw the clouds on my tea ...
It's been a good day :)

Happy weekend wishes,

Nina

  1. The lighting in your library is really nice - I'm pretty sure ours is harsh fluorescent lighting. I love the way the clouds are reflected in your tea - and your blue glasses capture such pretty light! Have a nice weekend, Nina!

  17. Thank you for this. I need to see reflected light more instead of just noticing the big lights directed at me. That soft, reflected light can be so powerful.

Happy Sharefest. I hope you have a lovely weekend.

  22. Hi Nina! Those glasses look so beautiful, I actually gasped when I saw them.
And I am not 'artsy' at all. What an eye you have for the extraordinary in the ordinary.
Let's pull out a book, grab and blanket and sip some tea. Sounds like a perfect afternoon :)
