Green / Nature [Nurture Photography Spring]

Spots of green are appearing here and there

While the ground is still covered with leaves,
lichen in the fallen branches
highlights my path as I walk along

Small sprouts lifting their heads up on stumps

This lichen in the tree will soon be hidden by the new, green leaves

Spring meets autumn
- green and brown,
side by side

I heart
the small greens
 of April

    1. All that snow piling up around you - I hope this was the last snow storm this spring ... It's time for warmth and sun, to smelt the snow and give place to new growth again!

    1. Thank you ... I often times focus on the small details when walking in the nature - the camera is a fine way of exposing them :)

    1. Is that right, Amanda - I've been captured by the different types of lichens since my childhood - there's so many of them in Finland, especially in the Northern Finland - Im also concerned for their future, since they grow best in places where the air is clean and no pollution. I do respect them when walking in the forest - the grey, swampy lichen in the summertime is hard and breaks easily - but it has taken many years for it to grow, so I prefer walking beside them, not to smash them ...
SO happy you shared your beautiful green captures in this weeks Nurture Photography ;)
