I had an early walk this morning and this beautiful flower caught my eye. The colors are fading and the leaves wither. However, in the process of decaying, something beautiful is appearing ... The beauty here is changing its form from the bright leaves to a pale, fragile structure.
A powerful metaphor! Wherever you are in your walk, you possess the unique qualities and beauty within you - the way it appears may change from time to time, but it will never disappear.
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because
I am fearfully and wonderfully made,
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

DeleteLooks like a hydrangea. I love them when they dry on the bush and their vibrancy turns muted. This one is particularly beautiful because of that lacy cut-out petal.
